What are Carriers?


Carriers are the individual shipping accounts you are using in your daily operation. Any account that is to be used on a prepaid basis needs to be registered via the Carriers screen in the system. 

To modify your carrier accounts, go to Admin -> Carriers in the sidebar.

Adding a Carrier 


To add a carrier, click the blue add button in the top right of the panel. This will open the Carrier Registration window.

Start out by clicking the dropdown and selecting the carrier that you are looking to set up. The system will prompt you for the information needed for the selected carrier and walk you through the setup process.

NOTE: If you don't see the carrier you are attempting to add please contact support to get with us about adding another carrier. 

FedEx 

A FedEx addition will need to be completed by Shipstore support, but to get started we will first need API credentials before we can complete this for you. Follow How to obtain FedEx API credentials guide to get that done and then open a ticket with support to finish your FedEx carrier connection. 

UPS

After selecting UPS you'll need to enter a good name in for this connection and then provide your account number. Please make sure your pop-up blocker is off for adding a new UPS connection.

Next, you'll be prompted to login with your UPS.com credentials that administers this account. Please make sure that this account appears under your accounts and payments section on your UPS.com profile or else we will get an error when attempting to ship with the new connection. 



Editing a Carrier

To edit a carrier, click the blue pen button in the row of the carrier you want to edit. This will open the Edit Carrier window, where you can update any information you need to on the account.

NOTE: Editing carriers changes the carrier for EVERY profile that the carrier is currently connected to. 

Removing a Carrier

To delete a carrier, click the red trashcan button on the row of the carrier you want to remove. If you need to delete multiple options, you can select the checkboxes for the desired accounts and then click "Remove Selected" in the top right.

NOTE: Removing carriers removes the carrier for EVERY profile that the carrier is currently connected to.
