Enabling EOD
For
customers
who
need
the
system
to
run
one
or
more
tasks
at
the
end
of
the
shipping
day,
Shipstore
comes
with
a
Run
EOD
button
that
can
be
enabled
on
a
profile
level.
To
set
this
up
on
a
profile:
- Click Admin to expand the Admin options and select Profiles.
- Choose the
icon
to
the
right
of
the
profile
you
wish
to
enable
EOD. - Select the Profile Basics tab and select Features from the dropdown.
- Toggle Enable EOD on.
Once enabled, you can
configure the actions you want
the system to perform via Business
Rules and EOD
Processes options under
Profile Overrides. Some
popular options are:
- Generating/exporting a
document
- Sending emails
- Posting back integration
data
EOD can also be set
up to run for all profiles at
the same time. To enable this,
go to Admin -> Settings,
then enable the Global EOD
option.
Running EOD
At the end of the shipping day, EOD
will need to be triggered manually
from the Ship screen. To do this,
click Shipping Functions, then Run
EOD. This button will kick off the EOD
tasks for the selected
profile(s).
