For customers looking to make it easier on users to set the box dimensions on their shipments, Shipstore offers the Box Types module that allows you to enter your different box sizes on a profile level.
Enabling the Box Types feature
Note: You will need to sign into ShipStore with a user that has Administration access.
Go to Admin -> Profiles
Click on Profile Basics and go to Profile Features. Turn the “Enable Box Types” option on and click the Save button on the top-right of the page.
Adding box types
- With the Enable Box Types setting enabled, go to Profile Overrides -> Box Types.
- From here you can add as many Default Box Dimensions as you would like to see on the profile by clicking on the blue + button on the right side of the screen.
3. A small window will appear. Enter the name and dimensions of the box type, as well as the value of the box if you would like SS to add this value to the markup rate.
4. After you have entered the information click save in the window then click the save button for the profile when finished adding all your box types.
